BASIC RENTAL CONDITIONS

Our rates include 15% VAT, Unlimited mileage, Standard Collision Damage Waiver (CDW) and Standard Theft Loss Waiver (TLW), First Aid Kit, Windhoek pick-up and drop-off and 24/7 Assistance.

All vehicles are hired subject to the standard Drive Namibia Rental Agreement Terms and Conditions. If a particular vehicle is not available, we reserve the right to substitute the booked vehicle with a similar one.

The minimum rental period is 7 days. Special rates apply for periods shorter than that. Please enquire.
Daily rates are calculated on a 24 hour basis from time of pick-up to time of drop-off.

Extensions of the rental period must be arranged with Drive Namibia at least 3 days (72 hours) prior to the agreed date of termination. Insurance, waivers and excess or reduced excess exclude damage from sandblast and damage to windscreens, or damage and loss of tyres, vehicle accessories and equipment as well as camping equipment and personal property.

All vehicles carry Third Party insurance according to the Standard Drive Namibia Terms and Conditions and the Standard Collision Damage Waiver (CDW) and Standard Theft Loss Waiver (TLW). In the event of an insurance claim arising, the renter will be held liable for the excess amount as stipulated in our Standard Terms and Conditions at that time. Security for the excess must be provided by the renter to Drive Namibia by means of credit card only. The excess amount can be reduced (reduced liability) against payment of a daily fee.

A valid and unendorsed driver’s licence must be produced by the driver. Minimum age is 25 years. Up to two drivers are included free of charge. Additional drivers will be charged a fee of N$150 per rental each.

According to Namibian legislation, all Drivers licences that are not in English should be translated to English. In other words, the license holder should either obtain a sworn translation in his/her country or obtain an International Drivers License that has a page with an English translation. We could also assist in getting a sworn translation in Namibia.
No vehicle may be taken outside Namibia unless otherwise arranged.

Long term and one-way rentals are available on request.

We accept Visa and Master Card, but please enquire about other payment options.

All terms, conditions and rates are subject to change without prior notice.
